Valerie P. Thomas joined the Firm as an Associate in 2006. Ms. Thomas advises individuals and entities on organizational structuring, financing, and regulatory and governance issues. Ms. Thomas further serves as legal counsel to court appointed receiverships. In 2003, Ms. Thomas graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and the Business Honors Program and a Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program. In 2006, Ms. Thomas received a Juris Doctor with honors from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Thomas is a member of the Dallas and American Bar Associations and the State Bar of Texas.
